Aside from being a delicious auditory snack, TANABATA is a Celebration of Japanese Culture at the Birmingham Museum of Art!
Saturday, August 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., visitors enjoyed the free Tanabata event. Beautiful works of art are on display and a lovely selection of kimonos is available in the Gift Shop! Saturday's event featured Children's games and Art; Live Performances; and a Martial Arts display.
The Museum outdid itself in a fine family-friendly (and free) presentation! Take a look at the photos below, and please Click n' Tell!
