Bitty's Back Porch Catering is now the independent contractor for the Waterfall Cafe, located on the campus of Southern Progress, 2100 Lakshore Drive. Kim Brock knows great food! From an inspiring vacation in the "Queen City of the Carolinas", Charleston, South Carolina, to Bitty's Back Porch in the Magic City of Birmingham, she has lived her experience with fine southern cuisine. After her graduation from Auburn University in 1993, Kim attended the Johnson-Wales College of Culinary Arts, graduating Cum Laude. In 2001, she opened Bitty's Back Porch Catering, Fine Cuisine with Southern Charm.
Bitty's Back Porch Catering utilizes seasonal ingredients prepared with a Southern influence (Asian, Carribean, Mediterranean, and more). The Catering clientele list includes The Greater Birmingham Convention and Visitor's Bureau, Parkside Home & Garden, Mercedes-Benz U.S International, Hand in Paw, and Southern Progress Corporation. She and her staff serve customers with Southern Hospitality that "add to the total experience."
Her unique flair for seasonal ingredients has also led Kim to prepare the finest snack mix, "Bitty's Sneaky Mix" - - and oh, good heavenly days, it is delicious!! You can also try "Bitty's Rib Rub", as well as unique sauces and salad dressings, with from-scratch vinaigrettes. These are available to the public, and orders can be placed by calling 205.326.0025.
