The Birmingham Public Library is presenting a series of special programs throughout the month of June on the topic of Baseball, and Birmingham's history of the sport. (See Find Things to Do for these free events!) As part of the series, this past Wednesday's BPL at Lunch program was Dolores Hydock's Baseball Stories.
Dolores Hydock is a well-known professional Storyteller, but to say she
tells a story is like saying Renoir painted. Dolores
Hydock sings the story; she dances the story; she becomes the characters
- and she absolutely pulls you into the action until you find yourself a
part of the story.
